There are drug cost assistance programs out there which might help some people who don't have enough money to afford their medications, and who don't have insurance to help cover the cost. This site has a list of all of the medications that have drug assistance programs. Drugs such as aciphex and nexium ARE listed, along with many others.
Income is usually a factor.
Some of these programs are run by the drug companies themselves.
