Phazyne is Simithicone (sp) the same stuff that is used in Gaviscon. Has anyone done this? I'm always worried about drug interaction.
There are no known drug or food interactions with simethicone.

cpadpl,
FYI: I usually call 2 or 3 pharmacies in my area and ask about interactions between different drugs before taking them (after checking the datasheets of each myself, of course). If all of them say there aren't any interactions, I feel pretty comfortable taking them together. The pharmacists are always happy to answer my questions.
It's probably a little paranoid to go to this extreme, but then again, I've not taken certain medications together because of the information that I've gathered.
As far as simethicone goes, like af mentions, there aren't any known interactions...something I learned from asking the pharmacist prior to purchasing it.
Just wasn't sure if you were aware that pharmacists are almost always willing to answer questions about drug interactions. Since they are only human, checking with 2 or 3 reduces the likelihood of error :).
