Robinbird:

I am also searching for a cure. As soon as I find something I will immediately let you know. You are not alone with these. How long have you been suffering with these? I am coming up on 1 year.

actually, I guess I've had them all along, but now with some muscle tension being relieved, I'm finding that I am more aware of every little thing going on inside my body.

I actually had the fundo and am still very much still healing, and it's been 11 months since surgery. I will tell you that my md gave me an rx for Norvasc, and I didn't see any improvement last year when I took them for a couple of days, but now that I have some muscle tension relieved, I took one a couple of days ago, and saw a big difference....it is a calcium channel blocker and is supposed to work on the soft muscle tissue in the esophagus, and it's quite expensive, but it's better than being all freaked out inside, which is what I feel when I have them.

Maybe this will help you too?

Just a thought, hope it helps...birdie :)

Thanks Robinbird. I still have the prescription for the Norvasc so maybe I'll give it another try. I do know it gave me terrible headaches before.

Thanks,

Pam

I took the one Norvasc (2.5 mg) on Thursday evening, and it seemed to help...is that what the doc gave you also?

Ever since then, I've had a headache. I thought it was just due to my not eating (as this seems to make the spasms worse :(
and my metabolism getting used to it.

I will say that since my fundo, I've never been hungry. I have no sensation for food whatsoever, which I guess can be good, but I never know when I'm full either :0 I can eat and eat, then in about 20-30 moments, I feel miserable!

I'm trying to train myself to eat just enough, haven't conquered this one yet!

Tell me all you know about the Norvasc.

Thanks, birdie :)

Basically, by the time you go bald, you may not have spasms anymore, but FOR GOODNESS SAKES, YOU'LL BE BALD, you will have bigger problems to worry about :0! ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!
