I am having my first few bouts of nausea since I became ill. It seems like with each passing month I develop a new GERD symptom I didn't have before.

Is anyone else's nausea a feeling of "my food is still sitting there in my stomach, it's not going down, it's not being digested in a healthy way, and therefore I feel sick to my stomach Eeeeuuuwww?" And do you want to make yourself puke on purpose in order to empty your stomach contents?

Talk to your doctor about a gastric emptying test. Also, the drug Reglan is used for this purpose. It speeds up movement of food through your system and relieves nausea. Check with your doctor. Some people have reported side effects with Reglan so be aware if you take it.

LSAT ,

I think on an old thread I read you took Reglan for a year? Is that safe to take it for long periods of time and after you stop taking it does that mean your speed of digestion has been permanently "restored" or does it go back to its old self?
