Burnt Esophagus

A question for anyone. Have you ever burnt your esophagus all the way down to the middle of the breast area on hot food? Seems like anytime I have hot food I have to be careful not to burn it again or I can feel it burn all the way down if the food is too hot. :confused: Cathy

Cathy...I think it is more likely that you have erosions or raw areas in your esophagus from acid reflux. When you down 'hot' foods or drink it 'burns'. If you havent already done so, see your doctor about having some tests done :lightbulb
