GERD and Celiac Sprue Disease

A year ago I had the Nissan Fundoplication Surgery to correct my GERD problem. I continue to have some abdominal pain. My gasterologist recently had some blood tests completed and found that I tested positive for Celiac Sprue, wheat intolerance. In addition I am B12 deficient. Does anyone have any indication if there is any correlation between GERD and Celiac? If so, please shed light on your condition.

funny...my dr. JUST tested me for Celiac...said they test 4 anti-bodies and only one of mine came up "elevated..."

I have no idea what that means.

i just thought it was ironic because i was just tested for Celiac. Which i had NEVER heard of until 2 weeks ago
