spasms

I have been having spasms directly under my chest after eating and was wondering if this was related to heatburn, (which I haven't had at the time of spasms), or a hiatial hernia or reflux. If someone else out there has had this problem, please let me know. It is driving me crazy.

It can be. I had a fluttering type of sensation after I would eat. No heartburn at that time but I would notice that it was related to gas. I would generally burm some minutes after the sensation. Some people state that it feels like their heart is skipping a beat. In my case it sort of felt that way but I am pretty sure it was a spasm of the esophagus reacting to refluxed stomach acid.
